about Louise

Louise Holloway is an internationally experienced creative director,
designer & educator in the fields of visual communication.

Born in Canada, Louise completed her BFA at the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design University; 
with an endowment grant from the National Centre for Plastic Arts in Paris, she earned
her Master's degree from the Atelier National de Recherche Typographique. After years in the film,
advertising & publishing industries, she launched her Paris - Amsterdam communication consultancy,
working with clients such as the OECD, the Public Works Administration of Luxembourg,
Baccarat, Remy Cointreau, PepsiCo Europe & the Solar Decathlon Europe. In her work,
Louise focuses on brand analysis, diagnostics, positioning & identification, directing multi-disciplinary 
projects in cross-cultural arenas, steering account management, marketing services & creative teams.

An inspiring & award-winning professor, Louise often builds bridges between client projects 
& academic initiatives. Currently, the emphasis is on communication, architecture & the smart citizen
in the urban landscape. Louise has taught & lectured at Parsons School of Design, The American University
in Paris, ESLSCA (l'Ecole Supérieure Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliquées) & in the faculties
of architecture at TU Delft & RWTH Aachen. She is a regular thesis advisor & adjudicator for international
design competitions. Louise leads Master's & executive seminars, most recently at the American Univerisity
of Armenia, Shanghai Normal University & the Paris-based Ecole de Communication Visuelle.

With her expertise in copywriting & concept development, brand strategy & broad-based 
design programmes, Louise integrates creative methodologies into her client projects, 
studio & labs, weaving words & pictures to produce effective, long-lasting communication solutions.
